Search options

Keyword search: Simply enter one or more keywords and the search engine will return all pages that contain the keywords

Wildcard search: You can add an asterisk (*) to a partial keyword. Entering associat* for example will find all words starting with associat like association, associated etc.

Phrase search: Sometimes you may need results that include an exact phrase. In this case you can use quotation marks. Searching for "cricket club" will find all pages containing these two words the way you entered them, like Armadale Cricket Club. A search for cricket club without quotation marks would also list  pages with sentences like All clubs play cricket.

Forcing a keyword: When searching for multiple keywords you can ensure that a page contains a certain keyword by putting a plus (+) in front of it. A search for cricket +club will only find pages containing both terms.

Excluding a keyword: To exclude a keyword, put a minus (-) in front of it. Thus, pages containing this keyword will not be returned. Searching for cricket -club will list all pages containg only the word cricket while pages containing both cricket and club will be ignored.
