Notice of Special General Meeting

Notice is nearby given, that a Special General Meeting is to be held on Monday 19 September 2022 commencing at 7.30 pm at the Thornlie Cricket Club, Walter Padbury Oval. This is a compulsory meeting and all clubs are required to attend.
 
A request for a special general meeting has been received from four  SMCA member clubs (East Fremantle, Leeming, Maddington and Phoenix). The following matters have been submitted for discussion and consideration.

Umpires Advisor

The SMCA Executive has confirmed the reappointment of Norm Harris as Umpires Advisor for the coming season. This will be Norm's 4th season in the position and he would love to hear from any people who may be interested in becoming an umpire.  Norm's contact details are  0433 505 900 or normwharris@gmail.com.

Second Grade - Coloured Clothing Delay

Due to delays in orders, Second Grade will be wearing whites in round one.

Afternoon Teas

Joint afternoon teas are now allowed, however it remains encouraged that teams provide their own teas. Clubs may like to contact the host club and discuss whether tea will be provided or not.

President - Personal Leave

Paul Speering has stepped aside for personal leave.  All SMCA communication should be directed to the Secretary. Any items specific to the President shuld be directed to Acting President Mark Rice markrice.smca@gmail.com

MyCricket Scoring Issue

MyCricket is aware of an issue with the display of statistics on the MyCricket public site and also the display of fixtures within MyCricket admin. This is being worked on as a priority.

Live scoring is not possible in effected matches.

One Day Fixtures

There are regular minor changes to the one day fixtures due to ground issues and major changes due to team withdrawls. ODG is particularly prone to changes and all clubs should check the fixtures regularly.
