Mr King opened proceedings. Frogbox footage had been provided which showed Mr Ratta making contact with an opposing team player - Mr Tennasey Wybenga from Phoenix CC. Mr Ratta pleaded guilty and apologised to the P&D for this incident. Mr Ratta informed the P&D that he had apologise to Mr Wybega.

Tribunal notes:

The P&D noted Mr Ratta's guilty plea and apologies to the opposition player and the P&D. No persons from Phoenix CC attended this P&D. Mr Ratta was informed that he can appeal the decision and the appeal must be submitted with 24 hours. Mr Ratta informed the P&D that he would not appealing the penalty.

Penalty:

Mr Ratta was suspended for six playing days, with three playing days suspended until 1 April 2024.
