Clearances

Under PlayHQ, clearances are now referred to as Transfers and Permits. Clubs have the ability through PlayHQ to manage their transfers and permits online, and can find comprehensive how-to guides in the transfers and permits section of PlayCricket support.  There is concern that clubs can register new players without a clearance on PlayHQ.  In cases where players have played for another other club and a Transfer (clearance) would normally be required, an email should be sent to the players former club ensuring that player is OK to play for the new club (doesn't owe money) - the SMCA Administrator should be copied in on this email. Transfers are only required from clubs affiliated with Associations in Cricket West. Should the SMCA become aware that players have changed clubs without a Transfer then penalties as per the By-Laws will be enforced.
